Biography:
Syed Asim from Pakistan, a Ph.D. scholar at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anwar Hussain. He completed his Ph.D. in 2025 with a specialization in Botany (Plant–microbe interaction). His research titled “Potential of Endophytic Fungi as Biofertilizers and Bioherbicide for Wheat and Its Associated Weeds” aims to isolate endophytic fungi from vigorous wheat genotypes that can inhibit noxious weeds while promoting wheat growth by modulating their physiology and biochemistry. He have gained valuable skills in experimental design, data analysis, scientific software, and scientific writing, and presented my research at the Second South Asian Symposium on Microbial Ecology (2023) in Kathmandu, Nepal, enhancing my communication and presentation skills.
