They help plants respond to environmental stresses such as drought, salinity, and pathogen attacks by fine-tuning metabolic pathways and defensive mechanisms. Advances in ncRNA research offer potential applications in crop improvement and disease resistance, making them a focal point in agricultural biotechnology for enhancing crop resilience.
